Campers are Protected When Accidents Happen

The following examples are actual claims which have been paid by the Special Risk Division of American Income Life.

A 7-year-old day camp participant was playing a dodge-ball-style game in an enclosed court. While exiting the court, he tripped over another camper. He was taken to a local medical center and immediately transferred to the hospital. X-rays showed the youngster had broken his arm. Maximum policy benefits were paid to help with emergency room and physician charges.

A 15-year-old was participating in a 1-week horse camp. She was trying to back up her horse during a riding drill when the horse reared back and landed on the camper, crushing her left elbow. The camps’ camper medical policy helped pay for X-rays, surgery, and follow up visits.
